The Themes of To Kill a Mockingbird
by Harper Lee
"You never really understand a person until you consider
things from his point of view... Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it." -Atticus
Finch
Throughout the book To Kill a Mockingbird, several themes arise and carry the plot, along
with the characters, to a deeper understanding of the morality of human beings.
You and your group will conduct an analysis on one of the themes within the text and then relate

Navigate this site, focusing on Objectives 1 and 2 and be sure you visit the Studen Help page.
Themes to consider in your analysis:
The Coexistence of Good and Evil
Education
Social Inequality
Prejudice
Bravery
