Theme Choice and In-class Paper
Due Date: December 1st

Theme Choice

When choosing a theme, consider all the ways it can be applied to the text. Work together with group members to determine a theme that everyone has insight on.

When writing your in-class paper, use textual evidence to support your claim and remember that everyone must incorporate their ideas into your writing.  Trace your theme to a deeper meaning in the text that relates to human morality. Consider each of the characters and how the theme can be applied to them and where human morality fits in.

Your grade will be based on your collaborative efforts and accuracy of your short paper. Textual evidence will ensure that you meet the above expectations.
